Irganox® PS 800

Irganox® PS 800 by BASF acts as a heat stabilizer and phenolic antioxidant. It is dialkyl ester of thiodipropionic acid used in adhesives for polyethylene power cables, XLPE power cables, HDPE pipe, polypropylene, polyolefin under-hood automotive applications, styrene homo- and copolymers.

It offers activity over broad temperature range (RT to melt), improved long-term stability, non-regenerative mechanism and consumption during reaction.
It is designed to protect against high temperature aging.
Its recommended dosage level is 0.05-0.1% and 0.02-0.03% in crosslinked power cables.
Irganox® PS 800 is approved for use in food contact applications.
It is listed in AICS, EINECS, PICCS, DSL, MITI, TSCA and ECL.
