RHEOBYK® -R 607

RHEOBYK® -R 607 by BYK is a rheology additive for the thixotropic enhancement of solid thixotropes e.g. hydrophilic fumed silica or clay additives. The spontaneous increase in viscosity is achieved by the formation of hydrogen bonds between the thixotrope and RHEOBYK® -R 607.

• It enables an automatic reduction in raw materials costs and improves the quality of the product.
• It is used in reactive adhesives based on epoxy resins.
• Recommended dosage level is 20-80% based on the percentage of hydrophilic, pyrogenic fumed silica and clay additive in the system.
• RHEOBYK® -R 607 has shelf life of 36 months.
