B-Tough™ A3

B-Tough™ A3 by Cargill is a medium polarity, epoxy functional, reactive toughening agent. It provides impact strength to structural adhesives without impacting the hardness of the matrix.

It protects substrates from moisture diffusion, extending the lifetime of the substrate.
It is easy to formulate with and used in adhesives & sealants.
It provides excellent stability and improved adhesion after humid aging.
It enhances durability by absorbing microcracks caused by aging and thermal shock.
Recommended dosage level of the elastomer phase is between 5 and 25%.
B-Tough™ A3 is listed with FDA 21 CFR 175.105, FDA 21 CFR 175.300 and EU (No. 10/2011).
