Chartwell D-518.71HR by Chartwell International is an aromatic amine functional organic adhesion promoter synthesized using a stabilized bimetal precursor. It is supplied in dipropylene glycol/ propylene glycol to aid in rapid dispersion and solubilization in most 2K epoxy, 2K PU, SB systems. Offers improved salt fog resistance, reduction of creep at the scribe, reduced blistering and also improved adhesion to plastics, ceramics, concrete as well as wood. Chartwell D-518.71HR usage level is 0.35 - 1.4 wt. per cent for 2K epoxy as well as 2K urethane depending upon polymer solids (plus organic pigment weight if applicable) and urethane modified nitrocellulose.
