Exolit® AP 422

Exolit® AP 422 by Clariant is fine-particle ammonium polyphosphate. It acts as a flame retardant. It is colorless, non-hygroscopic, and non-flammable. It is largely insoluble in water and completely insoluble in organic solvents. When incorporated into the base formulation at the rate of 10-20%, Exolit® AP 422 imparts a good flame-retardant effect to adhesives and sealants. Exolit® AP 422 has a shelf life of 12 months.
