Tyzor® PITA-SM

Mixture of titanium ethyl acetoacetate complex and methyl-trimethoxy silane. Is an organometallic catalyst. It is sensitive to moisture. Its high reactivity enables it to react with common functional groups such as R-OH, M-OH, Si-OH, and R-COOH to effect crosslinking, adhesion promotion and cure rate at low temperatures. It is used in silicone sealants and adhesives to increase cure rate, crosslink silanes, promotes adhesion and also acts as a drying agent. It provides these same benefits when used with silanol end-capped polymers such as polypropylene oxides, acrylates or polyurethanes.
