ANCAMINE® 1638

ANCAMINE® 1638 by Evonik acts as a curing agent. It is a modified aliphatic amine designed for use with liquid epoxy resin cured at ambient or elevated temperature. It exhibits good resistance to mineral acid, aqueous alkali solution, water & aromatic hydrocarbon and heat. It has a low viscosity, low loading and imparts high strength and modulus. It possesses high reactivity and fast set time. It is used in structural and general purpose adhesives. Its recommended use level is 15 phr. ANCAMINE® 1638 has a shelf life of at least 12 months from the date of manufacture.
