HELOXY™ Modifier Z8 by Westlake Epoxy is a reactive diluent or viscosity reducer for liquid epoxy resins. It is an aliphatic monoglycidyl ether of C12/C14-fatty alcohol. It offers very good substrate and filler wetting characteristics. Its main fields of application are formulated, low-viscous epoxy resins with good leveling and surfaces properties. It is used in adhesives. HELOXY™ Modifier Z8 is added to the epoxy resin in a ratio of 5-20 %.
