Polcarb™ SB by Imerys is a fine ground coated calcium carbonate. It offers enhanced rheological properties and reduced water or volatile content. It is used in hot-melt, polysulfide, bituminous, polyurethane sealants for construction, silicone and hybrid polymer sealants. Polcarb™ SB is recommended for use in PVC plastisols, tapes/strips, cavity fillers for automotive, acrylic sealants, putties and mastics.
