WestRez® 5090

WestRez® 5090 by Ingevity is glycerol ester resin used as a tackifier. It is present in a consistent bead, low-dust pastille form. It provides excellent wet out, improved flow ability, and better overall tack and adhesion as compared to other hydrocarbon resins. It has lower softening point than pentaerythritol modified esters and has antioxidants to improve color and oxidative stability. It offers increased compatibility with adhesive polymers and better adhesive performance. WestRez® 5090 has applications in freezer grade packaging, sealing, labels and tapes.
