WestRez® 5206

WestRez® 5206 by Ingevity is maleated glycerol ester resin. It acts as tackifier. It is present in a consistent bead, low-dust pastille form. It provides better specific adhesion, wet out, and improved flow ability. It possesses better overall tack and adhesion as compared to other hydrocarbon resins. It has antioxidants to improve color and oxidative stability and higher acid value and higher heat resistance. WestRez® 5206 offers increased compatibility with adhesive polymers and better adhesive performance and has applications in specialty packaging.
