LAVIOSA VISCOGEL™ ED2

LAVIOSA VISCOGEL™ ED2 by Laviosa Minerals is a high performance, self-activating, easy dispersible, bentonite clay grade with organically modified quaternary alkyl ammonium compound. Acts as a rheology modifier for solvent borne systems of moderate to high polarity. Possesses superior anti-settling and anti-sagging effect. It prevents pigments for long-term pigment storage settling. Exhibits thixotropic effect, sag control and excellent levelling. Provides good performance in solvents like aromatics, cellosolve, acetates, ketones, glycols and alcohols. LAVIOSA VISCOGEL™ ED2 shows good compatibility with epoxies, nitrocellulose, polyacrylates, polyesters, polyurethanes and polyvinyls. Suitable for use in adhesives. Recommended for applications with strong anti-sagging properties (at dosage level up to 3.0%). Complies with ISO 9001 regulation. It has a shelf life of 36 months.
