DENACOL® GEX-622

DENACOL® GEX-622 by Nagase ChemteX is a tetrafunctional, aliphatic-type epoxy crosslinking agent. It is produced by the glycidyl etherification of corn-based sorbitol using palm oil-based epichlorohydrin. It provides both high crosslinking density and fast curing speeds to adhesives formulations.

• Its unique chemical structure enables it to form stronger bonds, making it more resistant to mechanical wear, weathering, heat, water stains, chemical and physical degradation.
• It can be reacted with standard epoxy curing agents such as amines, as well as acid-functional acrylic resins and specialty curing agents for non-isocyanate (NISO) systems.
• Due to the high reactivity of the epoxy group, DENACOL® GEX-622 is suitable for extremely diverse applications.
• It offers non-yellowing, high adhesion, high strength and durability.
• It is recommended for water-based adhesives (fiber) applications.
