HX-2 by Rosin Chemical(Wuping) is a fully hydrogenated gum rosin. It acts as a tackifier and resin modifier. It is a thermoplastic, acidic resin, and the palest, most highly stabilized rosin commercially available. It has better initial color, color retention, and even greater resistance to oxidation. HX-2 is used in solvent adhesive and hot-melt adhesive that must excel in these properties.
