ShellSol™ BF by Shell Chemicals is a highly refined, and highly hydrogenated convert aromatics to cyclo-paraffins. It is a water-white, chemically stable, non-corrosive, negligible reactive impurities and fast constant-evaporating solvent. It consists of a mixture of paraffins and cyclo-paraffins in the C5 to C10 range. Possesses special boiling point. ShellSol™ BF is used as a component in the preparation of adhesives for medicinal plaster and pressure sensitive tapes. It contains very minimal aromatics and virtually no benzene.
