Reactsurf® 2490

Reactsurf® 2490 by Syensqo is an alkylphenol ethoxylates-free (APE), highly reactive, easily incorporated emulsifier and polymerizable surfactant. It is designed for acrylics, vinyl acrylics and styrene-acrylic latex systems. Provides superior functional and aesthetic benefits even at high temperatures. Exhibits low dynamic surface tension, critical micelle concentration, good particle size control, low grit and low foaming. It has exceptional watermark resistance. It also enhances water-whitening resistance and shear strength. It provides a solution that mitigates dirt pick-up and water whitening for higher-performing PSAs. It is strategically formulated to address surfactant leaching by improving reactivity and excellent emulsion stability. Reactsurf® 2490 is used in pressure-sensitive adhesives, sealants, non-woven, textile, building and construction applications. It is REACH-certified and FDA-approved.
