Plastolyn™ R1140

Plastolyn™ R1140 by Synthomer is an amorphous, aromatic tackifier. Possesses low-molecular-weight, high glass transition temperature and high softening point. Exhibits color stability, very good resistance to thermal & oxidative degradation and excellent compatibility with polyolefin polymers. Offers reduced polymer elastic memory effect such that dead folds and twist wrap properties may be obtained. Improves film barrier, gloss and haze. Plastolyn™ R1140 is used in hot-melt and solvent-borne adhesives.
