Mergal® 142 by Troy Corporation (Arxada) is a solid bactericide or in-package fungicide. It acts as a free flowing, crystalline, water-dispersible preservative for the control of bacteria, yeast and fungi in adhesives. Recommended dosage level ranges from 0.04– 0.11 wt% (in-package protection). Mergal® 142 complies with FDA Title 21 CFR 175.105, 176.170, 176.180 and 176.300.
