CO₂nverge® Polyol CPX-2012-112

CO₂nverge® Polyol CPX-2012-112 by Aether Industries is an innovative, high performance polyol for a variety of polyurethane systems. It is an amorphous, hydroxyl terminated diol produced from propylene oxide and carbon dioxide. Carbon dioxide accounts for approximately 40% of the polyol mass.

• It can improve hydrolytic stability, UV resistance, mechanical strength and toughness.
• Formulations using CO₂nverge® Polyol CPX-2012-112 provide adhesives with superior strength on a variety of substrates including PVC, wood, polycarbonate, and aluminum.
• It shows excellent compatibility with polyester polyols and low to moderate compatibility with polyether polyol.
• It is compatible with isocyanates, chain extenders, surfactants and catalysts used in standard polyurethane systems.
• It has REACH monomer registrations in the European Union and is registered in Taiwan.
