Pluracol® 2115

Technical Datasheet | Supplied by BASF
Pluracol® 2115 by BASF is primary hydroxyl-terminated graft polyether triol containing approximately 13.5% solids of copolymerized styrene and acrylonitrile. It contains a LVI inhibitor package. It can be used to produce HR slabstock foams having a narrow spread in cross-sectional density and IFD properties. This uniformity is beneficial when manufacturing foam with low load-bearing properties. Broad processing latitude permits the manufacture of a wide variety of foam having high resilient properties, especially softer grades. The formulations of Pluracol® 2115 can be modified using melamine and conventional flame retardants to produce foams which pass California technical bulletin 117 smoldering and open flame tests.
