Eastman NPG™ Glycol Platelets by Eastman is a 2,2-dimethyl-1,3-propanediol-based component. It provides good hardness/flexibility balance, ideal glass transition temperature.

Most polyester resin formulations contain NPG as the sole glycol component, or it is used in conjunction with a modifying glycol to achieve desired properties.
It offers excellent thermal stability for low resin color, weathering and good chemical-, humidity- and stain resistance.
It exhibits outstanding powder flow and fluidization characteristics.
Eastman NPG™ Glycol Platelets shows rapid reactivity during esterification and cure.
