Diol MPD

Diol MPD by Kuraray is a high-quality diol produced with Kuraray’s proprietary synthesis technology. It is an isomer of 1,6-hexanediol and hexylene glycol. It exhibits non-crystallinity and hydrophobicity. Offers low viscosity, flexibility, transparency, compatibility and hydrolysis resistance. It can increase the durability of finished products, giving good weather, water and abrasion resistance. It is liquid at room temperature, which makes it easy to handle and simplifies processes. Diol MPD is a raw material for polyurethanes used in adhesive applications. It is ISCC PLUS certified.
