SR231 by Sartomer (Arkema Group) is diethylene glycol dimethacrylate designed for adhesives. It is a di-functional, high boiling monomer with low vapor pressure. Exhibits chemical resistance, adhesion, hardness, abrasion resistance, impact strength and water resistance. Offers low viscosity as well as low volatility. It does not support high temperatures, localized heat sources (drum or band heaters), oxidizing conditions, freezing conditions, direct sunlight, ultraviolet radiation, and inert gas blanketing. SR231 can be used in free radical polymerization and in photopolymers.
