Natrosol™ 250 HXR by Ashland is a fine powder, water soluble hydroxyethylcellulose. It acts as a non-ionic viscosity- & rheology modifier, protective colloid, stabilizer, water retention- and suspending agent. It is suitable for water-based adhesives.

It is treated to delay hydration of the particles.
It shows compatibility with other materials such as emulsion polymers, natural & synthetic gums, emulsifiers and defoamers.
It offers good balance of ease of manufacture, very good flow, superior resistance to biodegradation, thickener efficiency, color acceptance and open time.
Natrosol™ 250 HXR is used in tile-, wallpaper-, latex and plywood adhesives.
