POLYVEST® EP MA 100 by Evonik is a maleic anhydride adduct of a 1,4-cis polybutadiene with succinic anhydride groups randomly distributed along the polymer chains, which has a low molecular weight.

It converts the apolar polybutadiene into a polar polybutadiene that can be used in a variety of chemical processes.
It is a polar hydrophobic hydrocarbon resin and a highly reactive binder.
Offers good compatibility with long-oil alkyd resins, rosin resins and zinc resonates.
Exhibits high chemical-, water- and cold resistance.
It possesses high electrical insulation properties.
Recommended for adhesive & sealant compositions, electrical insulations and potting compounds.
POLYVEST® EP MA 100 has a shelf life of 1 year.
