Good-Rite® SB 1177 by LANXESS (previously Emerald Kalama Chemical) is a highly carboxylated formaldehyde-free styrene-butadiene emulsion copolymer. It offers good resistance to water and solvents and very good retention of adhesion. Good-Rite® SB 1177 can be cured through the use of additives such as divalent metal salts or by conventional rubber vulcanization.
