SBR 1011AC

SBR 1011AC by Lion Elastomers is a linear, non-crosslinked styrene butadiene rubber (SBR) emulsion. It is produced via hot emulsion polymerization using a rosin acid. Exhibits consistent molecular weight, non-staining properties and low mooney and solution viscosity for low solvent usage.

• Offers a good balance of adhesion, cohesion and high tack, shear and peel strength.
• It is a light-colored, low-gel elastomer.
• Can be combined with natural rubber to offset its softening over time.
• SBR 1011AC is possible to replace toluene with zero-VOC, HAP-free solvents in formulations containing SBR1006.
• Suitable for general purpose solvent-based pressure-sensitive adhesive (PSA) formulations.
• Primary applications include high quality masking tapes, labels, cloth tapes and duct tapes. It can also be used in laminating adhesives.
