Rovene® 4457

Highly carboxylated styrene-butadiene anionic emulsion. This binder is the low VOC containing SBR latex that is crosslinkable with external crosslinking agents. It can be compounded to high solids using calcium carbonate, clays, and alumina trihydrate as fillers; sodium polyacrylate thickeners are commonly used to obtain the required application viscosity. It imparts good tensile strength and has good adhesion to a wide variety of surfaces. Used in laminating adhesives and also in tapes, label application.
