TRINSEO™ Modifier A/NA

TRINSEO™ Modifier A/NA by Trinseo is a non-carboxylated styrene butadiene (SB) latex emulsion. It exhibits excellent alkaline stability, excellent adhesion & strength, freeze/thaw stability and controlled air entrainment. It is compatible as an admixture to portland cement.

• It provides ease of mixing and good workability at low water-to-cement ratios.
• It imparts lower cost and low permeability to protect rebar from corrosion accelerated by deicing salts.
• It offers improved wear resistance, quick curing capability as well as reduced- crack propagation, modulus of elasticity, brittleness, deck stress and shrinkage.
• TRINSEO™ Modifier A/NA is suitable for latex modified concrete (LMC), rapid set latex modified concrete (RSLMC), bridge deck overlay, latex modified mortar (LMM) and cement-based material modification.
• It meets requirements of the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) RD-78-35.
