Vinavil® EVA 203

Vinylacetate-ethylene copolymer with polyvinyl alcohol as emulsifying system. Possesses pseudo-plastic rheological properties, quick setting time and good compatibility with usually employed components in vinyl-ethylene copolymers based aqueous adhesives (acrylic and cellulosic thickeners, plasticizers, rosins, terpene and hydrocarbon resins, natural rubber latex, mineral fillers). Provides very good adhesion to plastic materials, high cohesive strength and good resistance to creep. Applications: bonding plastic foils to wood, fibreboard and absorbent substrates for automatic packaging, bookbinding, automatic lamination of paper and board with plastic and metal foils. Can be used either to glue paper.
