VINNAPAS® 920

VINNAPAS® 920 by Wacker is vinyl acetate-ethylene copolymer dispersion stabilized with polyvinyl alcohol. Provides a strong wet tack, excellent mechanical stability, excellent flexibility at a rapid setting speed and a high thickening response. It shows high heat- and water resistance, clear film clarity, poor freeze/thaw stability and good crosslinking ability. It enhances shear properties. The dried film of this dispersion exhibits residual dry tack and green strength over conventional VAE’s. It is a semi-pressure sensitive, carboxylated, white liquid dispersion. It is highly compatible with polymeric and metallized polyethylene, polypropylene, and polyester terephthalate films. Recommended applications include board/paper laminating, carton window film, specialty folding carton manufacturing and various specialty packaging. VINNAPAS® 920 can be used in automotive, paper packaging, wood, flooring and pressure sensitive adhesives. It has a shelf life of 9 months.
