Cyanoacrylate adhesives are commonly used to assemble medical devices because of the ease and speed at which they bond to a variety of different plastics commonly used in the medical industry. However, there is a medical application for these "superglues" that is even more valuable. Cyanoacrylates are also used as adhesives for the human body and have contributed to saving many lives.
