Eastman™ 2-Ethylhexanol by Eastman is a biodegradable, versatile solvent that features excellent reactivity as a chemical intermediate. It offers defoaming, wetting, and dispersing characteristics.

It provides excellent reactivity as an intermediate and improves flow and gloss in baking finishes.
It shows high boiling point, slow evaporation rate and very low water miscibility.
It serves as a chain terminator in synthesizing condensation polymers.
It has low volatility and is recommended for graphic arts.
Eastman™ 2-Ethylhexanol is non-HAP, non-SARA and REACH compliant grade.
