Eastman™ Purified Terephthalic Acid (EPTA) by Eastman imparts excellent hardness and corrosion- and stain resistance. It has moderate solubility in molten glycols which can increase synthesis times, and it offers moderate solubility to resins.
  • It provides excellent weathering and good chemical resistance.
  • It shows good hardness/flexibility balance.
  • It exhibits ideal glass transition temperature range, outstanding powder flow and fluidization characteristics.
  • Eastman™ Purified Terephthalic Acid (EPTA) is recommended for adhesives & sealants - b&c and graphic arts.
