Hot-melt Adhesives

Hot-melt adhesives are thermoplastics that are applied in a molten state and form a bond on cooling to a solid state. After application, they retain the ability to wet the substrate until they solidify.

The adhesive is applied by extruding, rolling, or spraying and joining is carried out immediately after application or after reheating the solidified layer. The variety of polymers in this class is very wide and includes both natural and synthetic polymers.

Explore and learn about various hot-melt adhesives, such as vegan HMAs, sustainable HMAs and latest advances in raw materials.
