Gateway offers new web site

Gateway Safety, the 58-year-old Cleveland-based maker of eye, face and head protection, has made a major investment in its future with a completely revamped Web site. The renovated site offers more value than before for facility safety directors and purchasing directors, as well Gateway Safety's distributor partners and prospective distributors.

"Gateway Safety realizes that a mind-boggling amount of information is on the Internet. We wanted to relieve some of that 'information overload' for our customers by creating an easy-to-navigate, single source of product and safety facts and advice," says Matthew Love, director of corporate marketing for Gateway Safety. Visitors can find solutions to safety problems, compare and identify the right products for their applications, get quotes and reduce paperwork. Love feels that the information-loaded, user-friendly Web site will help develop strong customer connections and will help the company gain brand loyalty second only to a face-to-face relationship.

The home page to the Gateway Safety Web site offers a new interactive product-of-the-month feature, a constant industry and government news feed, a safety resource page complete with eye injury first aid tips, and hot links to government and safety sites. Other FYIs will be provided, such as a glossary of eye protection terms and a list of common acronyms for industry and government agencies. Distributor partners can visit a section directly off the home page that is directed at their unique needs and provides valuable features exclusively for them.
