Novel Epoxy-based UV Curable Adhesive for Electronics IndustryPanacol has launched Vitralit® UC 1536, a UV curable, epoxy-based adhesive with low-halogen content for the electronics industry. The stable, high-gloss and transparent adhesive is ideal for semiconductor production owing to its low ion-content.

Vitralit® UC 1536 – Scratch Resistant and Optically Clear

Vitralit® UC 1536 adhesive can be cured within seconds when exposed to light energy in the UVA range from 320 to 390 nm. Panacol offers a broad line of suitable curing devices from Dr. Hönle that can create customized solutions for the processing of Vitralit® UC 1536.

The adhesive cures to an optically clear and high-gloss surface, which is hard and scratch-resistant. The adhesive maintains its transparent brilliance even at high operating temperatures.

The new adhesive is highly viscous and suitable for applications that require dimensional stability within the production process. A successful application of this adhesive involves bonding glass lenses to CMOS sensors.
