BYK® -W 940

Solution of an unsaturated polycarboxylic acid polymer with a polysiloxane copolymer. Acts as wetting and dispersing agent. It bridges between the pigment particles are built, thereby creating three-dimensional network structures. The controlled flocculation mechanism prevents settling, sagging, flooding and floating. It is a wetting and dispersing additive for mineral fillers, inorganic and organic pigments. Stabilizes solid particles in the adhesive and prevent color separation. It is used for polyester and epoxy adhesives. Its recommended level is 0.5-1.5% additive based upon filler, 0.5-3% inorganic pigments and 2.5-5% organic pigments.
