BYK® -W 966

BYK® -W 966 by BYK is a solution of a salt of unsaturated polyamine amides and acidic polyesters. Acts as wetting and dispersing agents. Has anti-settling properties. It improves the dispersion of a wide range of the most commonly used fillers such as calcium carbonate and aluminium trihydroxide (ATH). BYK® -W 966 reduces system viscosity so that a higher filler load is possible and at the same time sedimentation of the filler is prevented. It deflocculates fillers by steric stabilization. Recommended for polyester adhesives and suitable for PUR, epoxy, acrylic adhesives. Its recommended level is 0.5 - 1.5% based upon filler.
