RHEOBYK® -431

RHEOBYK® -431 by BYK is rheology modifier for adhesives and sealants. It is solution of a high molecular weight, urea-modified, non-polar polyamide. It exhibits pseudoplastic flow behavior.

It generates a three-dimensional network structure with the aid of the pigments and fillers.
The settling of the pigments and fillers is prevented and outstanding anti-sagging properties are produced due to the rapid rebound in viscosity after shearing.
It improves the anti-sagging and anti-settling properties.
Recommended dosage level is 0.1-2% based upon the total formulation.
RHEOBYK® -431 has shelf life of 18 months.
