Dynasylan® 1175

Dynasylan® 1175 by Evonik is a cationic aminofunctional silane possessing hydrolyzable inorganic methoxysilyl groups. It acts as an adhesion promoter and as a surface modifier. It contains no carcinogenic benzyl chloride and exhibits better polymer wetting. It consists of silane concentration as 40% of active ingredient and 60% of methanol. It binds chemically to both inorganic materials (e.g. glass, metals, fillers) and organic polymers (e.g. thermosets, thermoplastics, elastomers). It shows improved mechanical properties (flexural strength, tensile strength, impact toughness and modulus of elasticity) and electrical properties (dielectric constant and specific volume resistance). Dynasylan® 1175 is suitable for sealants and adhesives.
