Dynasylan® M

Dynasylan® M by Evonik is methyl ester of orthosilicic acid. It acts as a crosslinker. It easily hydrolyses upon addition of water. It is the starting material for sol-gel processes, where the additional use of alkylalkoxysilanes can give the siloxane network organic character as a result of incorporation of alkyl group. Dynasylan® M has a minimum shelf life of 12 months.
