Omnirad 4PBZ by IGM Resins is an effective Type II photoinitiator. Used to initiate radical polymerization of unsaturated oligomers after exposure to UV light. It exhibits faster cure and absorption at longer wavelengths than benzophenone.

Its performance can be significantly improved when used in conjunction with tertiary amine synergists.
It provides through- and surface cure.
It is suitable for clear-, white-, pigmented- and water-based systems.
It is used for graphic arts, adhesives and electronics.
The recommended dosage level is 5-10% by weight.
The shelf life of Omnirad 4PBZ is 24 months.
