Mergal® K14 by Troy Corporation (Arxada) is a formulated isothiazolinone (CMIT/MIT) in-can wet-state preservative. It provides a broad spectrum of activity against bacteria, yeast, mold, and algae. The product is suited for systems with a pH of 3 up to approximately 8 or 9. Mergal® K14 is recommended for waterborne adhesives.
