Mergal® V555K2

Mergal® V555K2 by Troy Corporation (Arxada) is an in-can preservative, bactericide and fungicide in aqueous systems such as adhesives and acrylate sealants. It is chloromethyl-, methylisothiazolinone-, heavy metals- and VOC-free grade. It is a blend of benzoisothiazolinone lithium salt and 1,6-dihydroxy-2,5-dioxahexan. It provides a wide action spectrum against bacteria, yeasts and mold fungi. It shows compatibility with aqueous polymer emulsions such as pure acrylic, styrene acrylic, polyvinyl acetate and copolymers and vinyl acetate-ethylene pressure polymers. Mergal® V555K2 has a usage level of 0.1-0.3%.
