SBR 1009AFC

SBR 1009AFC by Lion Elastomers is a hot, highly crosslinked styrene butadiene rubber (SBR) terpolymer. It is produced in free-flowing crumb form (using a fatty acid emulsifier & calcium carbonate as a dusting agent) that eliminates the need for milling, cutting or grinding equipment. The crumb particles retain the porous nature of the coagulated rubber and can be dissolved in a solvent faster than milled or pelletized bale rubber. SBR 1009AFC exhibits high gel content, low shrinkage and trowelability. Shows incompatibility to oxidizing agents. Used in aerosol spray adhesives, airless spray adhesives, sag resistant mastics and sealants.
