Adhesives ingredients supplied by Toyobo

VYLON® polymers by Toyobo provide excellent adhesion to PET, PVC films or metals. They offer high modulus, hydrolysis resistance, pigment compatibility, disperse ability, durability and heat resistance. Used in hot melt adhesives, electrical and electronic bonding applications.

VYLON® product line include:

  • Solvent soluble type: Highly polymerized copolyester resin that can be dissolved by general purpose organic solvents
  • Solvent insoluble type: Highly polymerized copolyester resins which have crystalinity
  • Water based copolyester: Grades offered in the form of water dispersion
  • UR series: Urethane modified copolyester resins
