BENTONE® HC by Elementis is a cost-effective refined hectorite clay. Acts as a rheology modifier. Provides shear-thinning viscosity and stable package rheology over a wide temperature range. Improves slump or sag resistance and does not retard drying also has fast water release. It is bacteria- and enzyme-resistant. Used in water-borne adhesives. The recommended dosage of BENTONE® HC is 0.3-2.0% based on the total formulation.
