BYK® -066 N

BYK® -066 N by BYK is a solution of foam-destroying polysiloxanes. Acts as a defoamer. This additive contains fluoro-modified silicone. The binders preferred for it are chlorinated rubber and self-crosslinking acrylates. In BYK® -066 N, separation or turbidity may occur at temperatures below 5°C. It is highly efficient and offers optimum defoaming while utilizing only minimal quantities of incompatible substances. It is recommended for PUR-based adhesives and also found suitable for epoxy-based adhesives. Used in solvent-borne and solvent-free adhesives. Its recommended level is 0.1 - 0.7% based upon total formulation.
