BYK® -1790

BYK® -1790 by BYK is a silicon-free, polymer-based defoamer. It is recommended for solvent-free-, radiation-curing (UV & ESH) adhesives (pigmented & unpigmented) and sealants. It is ideal for universal use in acrylate-based binders.

• It has no negative effect on the adhesive properties of the adhesives.
• It prevents foaming in the manufacture of reactive polyurethane hot melt adhesives even at high viscosity.
• Recommended dosage level is 0.1-0.7% based upon the total formulation.
• BYK® -1790 has a shelf life of 36 months.
